Hi,
after waiting for the promised end to the rain mid-afternoon i gave up and had a drive down the fen anyway; very wet, gloomy and deserted, a far cry from the Christmas SEO fest when there were up to 20 cars about! Really not much about, hardly surprising, no Little Owl in the barn at the end, decided to count the herd of swans as i thought there were more than usual, mid-count a male Hen Harrier drifted into view :D and i watched it for a couple of minutes as it quartered the swan field before disappearing from view. Great stuff a real bonus on a drab day. Anyway the swan herd numbered at least 150, the most i've seen, i didn't identify the Whoopers and the Bewicks as it was too wet to get the scope out, just had a scan with the bins.

Cheers,
Oliver
