2nd winter Iceland Gull Grimsby Fish Dock this afternoon, found by GPC, Med gull also present, Dave, GPC, and H. Bunn.

This individual or another second winter Iceland Gull flew north with Herring Gulls past Donna Nook at 1025 on 21st. A second winter Glaucous Gull also headed north at 1005.

The North Wall side, but the bird is mobile.

Icland Gull still present today giving great close up views on North Quay, off Humber bridge road, Best views at fish factory at the corner of north quay and kemp road, taking scraps out of the skip with other gulls. No meds seen today. Pictures later

Glad you saw it Terence. I had a quick driveby at that time and didn't get it. Must have been looking at wrong skip :?

Still present this morning at 11.10 on the roof of Arctic Breeze (and it was!) on the North Quay of the fish docks.

The Homebase bird was actually a second second winter 3cy bird Phil as the Darnell's bird was there all the time and both were on the Docks this afternoon, also had a third bird, a first-winter 2cy, at Pywipe early afternoon and a single adult Med plus 2 Kittiwakes a first-winter and adult ----

had a day around bempton / scarborough area lots of fulmar, gannets all adults and several hundred guillemot returned also 5 med gulls scarborough and 5 kittiwake in the harbour. the big surprise was whilst looking for purp sands in the harbour a woodcock flew over my head on the outer wall. i have put this here to show like grahams kittiwake birds are on the move, ps also little gulls off long nab and its still january. the wheatear still showed well and looked in good condition.
