0730-0830 Lovely morning once the fog and frost departed, one of those mornings when it's a joy to be alive (exact opposite to when I'm sat watching Lincoln City FC). Birds very active. Footpath to hide still flooded (4 inches deep) Grasshopper Warbler x1 Barn owl x1 Little Egret x1 Hare x7 Mute swan x2 Mallard x6 plus young Greylag x12 plus young Shelduck x4 Tufted duck x4 Gadwall x4 Canada x2 Heron x 1 Swallow x4 Bl Hd Gulls x 18 Carrion crow x1 Wood Pigeon x 8 Sky lark x1 Reed Bunting x 2 Shoveler x4 Chaffinch x2 Swift x 2 Starling x3 Jackdaw x1 |
