went on a nightjar trip in the north west of the county tonight 20.30 till 23.00
the bird was not singing but at least
nightjar
5/6 woodcock
tawny owl
buzzard :D

oh ps called at cleethorpes leisure ctr at 20.00 saw huge flock of knot approx 2500 birds settled from leisure ctr towards tetney over a wide area sorry i forgot :D :D

oh yes but lots of jungle grade spray with plenty of deet kept them at bay :wink: :wink:

ps nightjars are premium birds to see but for me it was worth it for the woodcock alone, great !!
