Wader counts between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall were incomplete owing to the strong heat haze. The most significant birds today were 2,150 Black-headed Gulls, at least one adult Mediterranean Gull, one Arctic Skua, 2 Greenshanks, one Common Sandpiper, 11 Kestrels, one Sparrowhawk, 2 Common Buzzards, 2 Marsh Harriers, one Cuckoo and 2 Willow Warblers.
