Lesser Spotted Woodpecker singing and preening high up in Ash tree first thing this morning. First one i've seen in four years of working there. Also Spotted Flycatchers successfully raised brood again this year (third year in a row to my knowledge) from nest in hole in Wood store. Not sure how many young i'm afraid. Oliver. |
