I drove over to Baumber this afternoon; Greg, Russ T. and I searched the area. We saw BH Gulls flycatching, Starlings flycatching, Chaffinches flycatching with some very neat twists and turns, plus Hirundines......but no Spotted Flycatchers flycatching : they had moved on. Freddy |

Baumber bits and bobs 2 03/09/12. Spotted Fly 3 present early morning but no sign after 11.00 am so no cigar for Freddy today ! Also - Hobby 1, Willow Warbler 3 maybe 4. Kestrel 1, Blackcap 1, Yellow Wag 2, Pied Wag 7, Swallow c50, H.Martin c20, C.Buzzard 2 distant calling.Long tailed tit 4, Goldcrest 1. Forgot..retrospective record Merlin @ Wispington 25.8.12 earliest i've seen. Cheers Greg
