Post subject:  Saltfeetby-Theddlethorpe NNR beach this evening

Quick walk out from Brickyard Lane with dog at high tide:

Gannets, juvs. still flying north (see Huttoft posting) close to shore with 26 in 30 minutes
Manx shearwater, 1 >S close to shore on calm sea.
cormorant, 12
Whimbrel 1>S
Greater B-b gull, 35 on beach, but 115 came into roost at same time previous evening, 14/09/12

Meadow pipit, 39 on developing salting
Turtle dove, 2 in bushes for couple of weeks, difficult to plumage check because flighty and fast, but assume are local juvs.

Regards
Cliff
