Birds present on the landward side at the south end this morning included 2 Jays, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Water Rail, 4 Kestrels, Sparrowhawk, Hobby, 26 Lapwings, 100 Goldfinches, 3 Siskins, Lapland Bunting, 250 Skylarks, 120 Meadow Pipits, 5 Swallows, 4 House Martins, Common Redstart, 2 Chiffchaffs, Blackcap and 4 Goldcrests. At sea were 54 Gannets, 9 Cormorants, Great Skua, Arctic Skua, 4 Red-throated Divers, 20 Brent Geese, 56 Common Scoters and 6 Eiders. |
