Star of a Saturday visit was a jack snipe in front of the Mere hide. It spent most of the day half obscured by the cut reeds to the immediate left of the hide
3 stonechat by the small carpark by the visitor centre. 2 males
4 red throated divers
4 gannets
3 scoters
1 jay
chiffchaff 20+
redwing 20+
spotted redshank 5 - same birds as last week-end?
15 avocet
little egret 6
