A chilly, rain-interrupted afternoon's birdwatching produced:

Little Stint - at least 2
Curlew Sandpiper - 1
Dunlin - 20 or so
Black-tailed Godwit - 50
Lapwing - 40
Ruff - 2
Curlew - 3
Little Egret - 3
Peregrine - 1
Merlin - 1

Rising numbers of Wigeon and Brent Goose noted.

Viewing from the 360 hide temporarily disrupted owing to cows standing very close to the viewing windows!

It's like a bovine Assault on Precinct 13! :D

I had an hour or so in the hedgerow this afternoon. Along with what seemed like several gazillion Goldfinch, highlights included my first Redwing of the autumn, Lesser Redpoll, a small flock of Long-tailed Tits and a Muntjac.
