14 October mid morning 4 Little egret perched and preening in dead willows on Knaith marsh just over the river Trent opposite Knaith Hall near Gainsborough. This spot always holds a nice range of waterfowl and other 'goodies' but is just over the border in Notts but can be watched on the Lincs side from the Trent bank. Ian Birch |
