Two hours at a foggy Gib this morning was slightly quieter than yesterday (unless Kev thinks otherwise!). A large number of Fieldfares and Redwings in both east and west dunes, probably in excess of 500 each. Also 7 Ring Ousels at least (4 in and around Sykes Farm, 1 at Mill Hill, 2 on the seaward side of the Mere), 5 Black Redstarts (2 Ad males, 1 at the visitor centre, 1 along the sleeper track), I Jack Snipe (on the small pool just past the Mere Hide). Doubtless more will be logged as the day goes on,

Phil, with Paul Neale.
