Trent Port area, Marton 26 Oct 2012 Pink-footed geese about 100 NE @10.05 (surprisingly low) Fieldfare 200+ (in hedgerows and flying over, mainly west) Redwing 300+ (in hedgerows and flying over, mainly west) Common snipe 1 (first of winter here) Kingfisher 1 Chiffchaff 1 (very vocal bird near windmill) Goldfinch 25 Starling 300+ Buzzard 2 Kestrel 3 Treecreeper 1 (plus common darters and migrant hawker still on the wing here) Brian |
