The Bluethroat was not seen after approx 11:00am when it started to rain. Also today at Gib: 3 Short-eared Owls 1 Hen Harrier (m) 1 Sparrowhawk (f) 30 Whooper Swan flew South in groups of 18(5 juv) and 12 2 Water Rail (Mere hide) 5 Common Snipe (Mere hide) 1 Woodcock Large numbers of Blackbirds but less Redwing and Fieldfares 1 Waxwing reported flew south |
