Post subject:  Donna Nook, 12th November.

Towards the end of the autumn and after a fairly quiet period, it was encouraging to find a few migrants concentrated in a patch of willows at the south end this morning. A Yellow-browed Warbler was actively feeding with a group of at least 3 Chiffchaffs, the area's latest ever Willow Warbler, 2 Goldcrests and a handful of Blue Tits. Here and in the adjacent buckthorn and hawthorns were a few Chaffinches, Blackbirds and a late male Ring Ouzel.
