Knaith

4 Waxwings landed briefly in a birch tree in my garden but flew off after only a minute or so.
A garden tick nevertheless!

Flock of at least 7 waxwings feeding on hawthorn berries along roadside hedge opposite Knaith Hall.
Good numbers of redwings, fieldfares and a few mistle thrushes also present.
Over 200 wigeon spooked from River Trent nearby.
