I called in at the Abingdon Avenue/Woodvale Avenue road junction today (Fri) from 12.20 - 12.50.
There were 5 Waxwings perching in a tree and flying down to the pink Rowan berries nearby.
Thanks, Chris, for the lead.

12 in garden of 34 Abingdon Ave at 10am. Feeding on what looks like the same white berried rowan as the ones in Tentercroft Street.
Cheers. Rick

There were 40+ waxwings at this site at 14:45-1500 hrs. today. The birds were very active moving, from the Rowan tree to the Oak across the road. The berry stocks were visibly diminished as we left, they will possibly be gone by the end of tomorrow.

Best Wishes
Derek

60 Waxwings in the grounds of the Pride of Lincoln at 3.00pm today, a very short distance from Abington Ave, I assume relate to the same birds re-locating then.

Cheers

Grahame
