A brief but productive visit late afternoon 14:45-16:00, Beach car park to Mill Hill. Water Pipit perched then flew calling from a post on the freshwater marsh, Cetti's Warbler calling and seen well in scrub between the two dipping ponds, Male Hen Harrier over the freshwater marsh putting up the Curlew and Snipe, 45 Snow Buntings seen from Mill Hill flying around the Greenshank creek dunes, Merlin 1, Barn Owl 1, Fieldfare 80, Goldcrest 5, Redpoll 3 S Cheers, Rob with Roger Riddington. |
