33 Waxwings in Barton yesterday afternoon around 3pm, they were in a tall tree next to the footbridge over the ditch alongside Tescos...they were seen off by an irate Mistle Thrush two or three times..then eventually flew off in a north-westerly direction. Seen again a few minutes later heading towards the town centre.

Quite a few Waxwing today...a few separate flocks, the largest being 53 birds. They were seen in the Cement Works, on Far Ings NNT, also along the Humber bank and along Far Ings Road. They were seen feeding on both guelder rose berries and wild privet.
