Todays Highlights:
Rough-legged Buzzard 1. The bird was observed from Jacksons hide, it flew in from an easterly direction at 13:30 (possibly in off the sea?), as it came closer to the hide the size of the bird and the long wings drew my attention, as it got nearer the dark belly and carpal patches in the wing, and the white tail with the dark terminal band immediately confirmed the identification of Rough-legged. It flew around Jacksons scrape for a couple of minutes, hovering frequently. What a beauty!
Other bits: Common Buzzard 1 (Croft Marsh) Water Rail 1 (Tennysons) Bewick's Swan 10 (South, per KWilson) Gannet 1 (North) Siskin 8 Lapwing 5000 Pintail
