Bright and dry on the patch for a change but lots of flood water on the fields and the mere water level is at 2.97m:- 2 Egyptian Geese on flooded cow field 44 Tufted Duck on mere 1 female Goosander on Catchwater drain 1 Little Egret on wheat field with Grey Heron 1 Buzzard 1 Kestrel 1 Skylark on stubble field 4 Pied Wagtails 3 Waxwings flew over calling c150 Fieldfares on stubble field c40 Redwings on stubble field Flock of c60 Lesser Redpolls in Catchwater copse 1 male Bullfinch in Catchwater copse |
