Hi,

I decided to spend some time looking for the female red-crested pochard that has been reported over the last couple of days. Unfortunately, despite other birders seeing it today, I did not manage to catch up with it.

Other highlights included:

Good to meet you today Simon, thanks for the tip off about the White Fronted Geese, found them in fields over from the end car park. Flock of Curlew landed, but light was so poor couldn't count them, but I guess at 20.

Hopefully you can sort out the dumped farm ducks and goose and hope they don't have a negative impact on the other birds.

PS My wife, who had the Guide Dog enjoyed the sound of the Teal and Wigeon, natures real entertainment.
