Post subject:  Tour of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Reserves

I did a short tour of Trust Reserves that are near the Humber yesterday (6/1/13) and noted the following through the gloom.

Killingholme
Shelduck 6
Curlew 1
Mallard 27
Grey Heron 1

Goxhill Haven/Dawson's Pits
Pink-footed Goose 200-250
Curlew 17
Goosander 3 (1m, 2f)
Redshank 5
Yellow hammer 1

New Holland/Fairfield Pit
Mallard c30
Mute Swan c20
Black Swan 1 (also reported on escapees page)
Redshank c30
Collared dove c20
Sparrowhawk 1
Tufted duck 1m
Pochard c18, mainly males

Barrow Haven
Teal c15
Shoveler c10
Gadwall 3
Tufted Duck 1m
Goldeneye 3f

Quite a lot of travelling and walking for not much excitement really!
