A walk round Kirkby Moor reserve, 12.10 to 13.30. The following recorded:

Coot 1
Gt. Spotted woodpecker 3
Meadow pipit 1
Waxwing 10
Wren 6
Dunnock 1
Robin 6
Blackbird 10
Redwing 16
Long-tailed tit 12
Bluetit 5
Great tit 10
Coal tit 5
Willow tit 2
Treecreeper 2
Jay 5
Magpie 1
Carrion Crow 2
Bullfinch 1

Waxwings were hawking insects from trees both sides of Kirkby Lane west of Reserve entrance. I counted 10 but they were widely scattered and moving constantly so there may have been a few more.
