In the murk this afternoon:- 18 Goosanders (9males, 9 redheads), 135 Mute Swans, 1 Whooper Swan, 14 Little Egrets, 1 Short-eared Owl, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Common Buzzard, 4 Little Grebes, 2 Great-crested Grebes and 1 Goldeneye. Another herd of Swans was too distant to 'scope in the fog. |
