Hi,

a spoonbill flew in to North scrape today at 4pm.

Other highlights included:

Whooper swan 21
Brent goose 850+
Pink-footed goose 450+
European white-fronted goose 2
Marsh harrier 1m
Hen harrier 2m
Peregrine 2 m 1f
Merlin 3 2f 1m
Barn owl 3

If memory serves, I think we had a Spoonbill on the reserve for a week or so at this time last year too.

Thats right Dan, we had one from the 7th Jan 2012 that hung around for a week or so.
This particular bird has been seen on three occasions (from the 7th Jan 2013) flying in to the reserve from the south west and heading towards north scrape.
