Post subject:  Tundra bean goose

Alerted by bird guides this afternoon I went down to the Whisby Silt Lagoons. No sign on the lagoons but the three birds were in a field the other side of the road to the lagoons at 14:15 along with 17 greylag geese a one teal
Also c24 pochard on the lagoon

The 3 Tundra Bean Geese are still present this afternoon feeding in a rough potato field to the south of the road opposite the eastern settlement pit.

Although there are Greylags and Canada Geese in the same field the Beans are keeping apart from these.

Must be a hellish big potato I guess to accommodate 3 geese!
