Enjoyed a 7 mile walk with the wife today all around Willingham Forest. 8 Lesser Redpolls and a Kestrel in Dog Kennel Wood, 2 Carrion Crows harrying a Buzzard and 2 Jays at Chapel Hill plus 2 Blackbirds and 3 Robins were the only birds seen. Walked in to our road end at 3.40p.m. to be greeted by a Dunnock singing his heart out at -1C!! |

A similar lack of birds in Laughton forest on my last few visits with the exception of 5 Jack Snipe and 64 Common Snipe at the start of the month |
