Post subject:  Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe NNR Brambling

Female Brambling this morning at Sea View, stayed briefly before flying off.
Very little else in the area - Fieldfare 6, and 6 Redwing near Paradise. Up to 11 Blackbirds at feeding stn near Sea View yesterday.

Theddlethorpe foreshore, 138 twite, 136 dunlin, 34 teal, 14 cormorant, c 600 common gulls,
( c 2000 herring gulls last fri, only 38 today with thawing from monday)
only 1 red throat diver seen on sea in a 40 min scan, little other of note.

25 01 13, whooper swan 5 sw over dunes, fieldfare flock of 86 in Thedd churchyard trees
with nearby old cattle grazed meadow and hedgerows, tawny owl calling nearby.
