Todays Highlights: Bittern 1 (Found by Sandra Neale) Showed very well for about an hour on Tennyson Sands this morning from Fenella Hope hide (middle hide), what a beauty! Waxwing 20 (South) Common Buzzard 1 (South) Merlin 1 Peregrine 1 Goldeneye 4 (Mere) Red-breasted Merganser 2 (Pair on the sea) Hen Harrier 1 Marsh Harrier 2 Shore Lark 1 (North of Greenshanks Creek) Water Rail 3 Mediterranean Gull 1 (Ad Winter, on the beach this afternoon) Turnstone 82 Fieldfare 79 (63 South) Cheers, Richard |
