| Post subject: | Marston Water Rail |
The Water Rail population at Marston STW is very good at the moment. In not much more than an hour watching the best location in the reed bed from the track I counted at least 12 Water Rail seen and probably more heard. In addition a Cetti's was heard on and off for some while before showing itself briefly. To be able to be watching Water Rail while a Cetti's is calling nearby is quite an experience! Two ladies were also present and enjoyed the spectacle. David |
