Post subject:  MSQ/Ashbyville Lake

Some good birds today:

MSQ.

2nd calendar year Drake Long-tailed Duck(On the main lake,but flew off with a drake Tufted Duck),presumably this is the same bird which was seen at the latter end of last year and moved to Manton Fishing lakes.

2 female Scaup
4 Goosander(2m/2f)
65 Redwing
25 Lesser Redpoll

Ashbyville Lake.

I noted the great northern diver circling over Ashbyville Lake this morning at about 10.45 but then disappeared from view. Not seen on the lake itself.
