A lovely morning, clear and for once virtually no wind! Pink feet - same lot as John W and Cliff M...I had 670 over in two skeins (510 at 8.26hrs and 160 at 9.06hrs). Also included Whoopers 5, Knot 216, Twite 30, Shelduck 9, Dunlin 54, Grey Plover 14, Eider 71 low over sea N, Scoter 53, Red-throated Diver 2, Redshank 106, Ringed Plover 20 and Rock Pipit 18. Walking back over the saltmarsh it was nice to hear Skylark in song albeit only 6 birds. Later - 15 Siskin at Sea View. Peter |
