there is a flock of c20-25 waxwings in Bourne at present. Saw 21 along Exeter Street at junction with St Gilbert's road at the weekend - ie to the west of the Esso garage. Sorry for late post but saw them there this morning also - birds feeding on a single berried cotoneaster (but more often in an ash tree to the north). But these birds have also been seen more regularly at junction of North Road and maple Gardens - feeding on mistletoe. For those who don't know Bourne, both these sites are within 100m or so of the Esso petrol station / mini-Tesco on north Road in Bourne.

Waxwings are still feeding on the Mistletoe on North Road, Bourne. There were about 10 as I drove past this afternoon (Friday) at 2pm.
