A good day birding at Gibraltar Point. Best find was 24 Snow Buntings out on the shore line at Millenium Ridge, right on the point at the haven outlet.
Managed to get a short, but shaky video clip. This was seen by Rob and Helen Watson who confirmed the birds.
Finally, 7 Waxwings, in a tree in the garden of No. 340 on Gibraltar Point road opposite the golf course.
So I'm well chuffed for my first report on the Forum, being a new member of the club.

Regards

Rob

Hi rob,
Welcome to the bird club.
Enjoyed your post sightings.
I also saw 9 waxwings near to where you saw yours. They are exceptionally beautiful birds, and also their trilling voice.
Look forward to more sightings from you, all the best, Clive.
