A local c30 acres ploughed field that has been waterlogged and sometimes held up to 70 curlews feeding on it
this morning i flushed 12 snipe from it, which was a suprise, also 2 great spot woodpeckers coming daily
to my garden fatball feeders over past 2 weeks.

My fatball feeder hangs under a 40ft tall siver birch Andy and the GSW drums on a nearby
dying willow tree, this species has increased markedly locally over recent years and was
a rarity here 20 years ago , nice to see but they sure get through a quantity of fatballs.
regards John.
