A Chiffchaff was singing in the spring like sunshine at the mere this afternoon. I assume this was a migrant as there have been no overwintering birds on the patch this year.
2 Egyptian Geese with Greylags on "radio aerial field".
7 Goosanders, 3 males, on the mere.
1 Kingfisher on main drain sluice.

I found a Cannon ultrasonic lens cap at the mere this afternoon, if this is yours please contact me.
