9 March 2013 Common snipe 6 Great crested grebe 1 Wigeon 85 Teal 24 Fieldfare 150 Tree sparrow 12 In my garden here at Marton been having single siskins (but different individuals) coming to niger feeder over last 5 weeks but today (10th March) three were present together, plus increase today in numbers of greenfinches and chaffinches. Great spotted woopecker has also appeared in garden for the first time this winter. Brian |
