Had an hour or so at Frampton late this afternoon. Picked up the leucistic Lapwing near the barn. It really is very striking! It didn't seem too fussed by the Merlin that zipped down the back of the reservoir either.

Also had 3 Black-tailed Godwits on the wet grassland, 2 Snipe and 21 Dunlin on the scrapes during a brief stop at the 360° Hide, a single Barnacle Goose on the bank near the Reedbed Hide and 2 Barn Owls hunting at the back of the reedbed.

The best was saved for last though. Had just put my scope into the boot of my car when a male Hen Harrier came swooping over the grassland adjacent to the car-park, coming within thirty yards before heading back towards the sea-bank, merrily sending teal scattering as he went.
