A Red Kite drifted over our garden in Dunston this morning at about 11:00 a.m. before moving off to the south. This is the second "garden record" in 16 years. It appeared to be hunting along the railway line, so could perhaps end up in Sleaford!

Also found a Tawny Owl roosting in Neville Wood yesterday - in the back of one of its regular trees, the one with the "Private Wood" sign.

Cheers,

David Cohen

Hello David,

Probably the same bird I saw circling over the Petwood Hotel area in Woodhall at 09.15 today
