Contemplating a walk round Whisby but the snowflakes make me think twice. Then sat looking out of the window whilst listening to Fairport Convention, seven lesser redpoll and two male siskin turn up on the feeders. I think to myself why bother I have perfection sat here

Particularly if it was the "Liege and Lief" Album! I'm going to dig out some Steeleye Span to attract some Bramblings - readers under a certain age ignore the ramblings!!

Who knows where the time goes, Stuart. Liege and Lief now you are talking. FC are appearing in Boston soon and have tickets. Unfortunately the music hasn't attracted any brambling yet. Haven't seen any of those in the garden for about fifteen years or a single one anywhere this year

I've had requests for both Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span on my hospital radio record requests rounds over the years - been volunteering for Pilgrim Hospital Radio since 2003!

Incidentally, Pilgrim Hospital hosts a small Pied Wagtail roost. Regular sunset sightings of between 15-25 birds.
