About 1315 a Red Kite swooped over the garden and down to the bird table where I had put some crushed fatballs, seeds and kitchen scraps. I think it would have landed but it was mobbed by Jackdaws and eventually flew up over the hedge and accross the neighbouring field. We have seen Kites over the garden before but this one really counts as a garden record. Ian |
