Have spent a lovely couple of hours gardening however between 1215 and 1245 I have twice broken off from digging as gulls were kicking up a fuss. On both occasions I quickly located the gulls mobbing a Buzzard, however whilst following the first bird drifting toward Cleethorpes Country Park it passed 2 smaller raptors that were flying together. I moved position to get a better view but couldnt find them again. I am pretty certain that the 2 Buzzards were different birds by the plummage but didn't see enough to put an ID on the other 2, but pretty certain they weren't Kestrels and the jizz didn't put Sprawks to mind. Will keep my ears and eyes open this afternoon!! James NB - Am changing the 2 'unknowns to knowns' as saw a pair of Sparrowhawks together in almost the same area today (Sunday). |
