A few reminders of winter and harbingers of spring:

2 Chiffchaff (one singing along the railway line and one silent one moving rapidly up the bridleway [actively migrating?])
19 Wigeon, 18 Golden Plover, 15 Redwing, 4 Shelduck, 2 Pink-footed Geese (apparently paired-up), 1 Common Treecreeper (around the Works compound [good time of year for STT!]), 5 singing Cetti's Warblers, 5 Curlew, 2 Oystercatcher, 10 Snipe, 4 Siskin, 5 Lesser Redpoll, 5 Sparrowhawks (displaying in the same airspace together over Jericho). No Black Redstart, Firecrest, Ring Ouzel etc.... Looking forward to my next visit in December...
