A walk around Millenium Lakes, Apex Pit and Teal Lake on a beautiful, warm spring morning, although fairly quiet on the bird front. Most notable were: Chiffchaff - 3 singing (one showing well). At last! Jay - 1 Goldeneye - pair Teal - 11 Little Egret - 2 Snipe - 1 Oystercatcher - 2 Curlew - 1 flew east - a fairly rare bird for the pits area. Matthew |
