One whiff of a southerly plume, and ** BANG!!! ** - all three hirundines seen in the space of 15 seconds on a wildlife walk today!

At least 10 Swallows, 4 House Martin and 5 Sand Martin seen flying over a private lake up the road from me this afternoon! To cap off a great day, another swallow flew right over my house as I was returning from the walk!!!!

* EPIC WIN * :D =D>

Also 4 Cormorant , pair of Great Crested Grebe, 6 Tufted Duck and a small group of Greylag and Canada Goose on the South Forty Foot. Sparrowhawk hunting over the banks. Lots of Blackbirds singing their hearts out, as well as 3 Wrens doing likewise.
