Spring has sprung this weeken and migrants are coming in thick and fast. Yet some of our winter visitors are still around.

Highlights inc

50+ Swallows
30+ Sand Martin
2 House Martin
1 Chiffchaff
9 Yellow Wagtail
29 Redwing
15 Fieldfare
17 Teal
4 Goldeneye
2 Buzzard
9 Pied Wagtail
1 Dunlin
2 Oystercatcher
5 Redshank

Probably one of my best days at Covenham all year! It's been slow!

Another good few hours at Covenham today produced.

1 Little Ringed Plover (My First for about 2 years!)
1 Common Sandpiper
2 Oystercatcher
11 Redshank
1 Buzzard
1 Kestrel
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Shelduck
3 Yellow Wagtails
30 + Alba Wagtails
Lots of Hirundines, A constant flow coming in from the coast.
