Saturday 20th April mid afternon
River Trent near Knaith
Surprised to find 1 female Common scoter on the Trent but it was spooked by a passing barge and flew upstream. Pretty unusual this far inland?
Also plenty of sand martins around their bankside colony, 2 yellow wagtail, 1 singing whitethroat and 3 roe deer
