A gloriously sunny day spent at Whisby Nature Park near Lincoln, where I was serenaded for an hour or so by Nightingales. What a truly beautiful bird; I not only heard about 3 of them, but had unbelievably clear, close views of 2 of them through my binoculars as they sang... weather nice and warm too. Willow Warblers, Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs, Blackcaps, a pair of Bullfinches.... Utter sublime bliss... |
